The emergency services were called to reports of a crash, involving a bus and a car, in Walton‑le‑Dale at the weekend.
On February 14, at around 9am, a fire engine was called to Victoria Road.
The fire service was in attendance for 20 minutes and police said an injury was reported.
One person received first aid treatment from fire crews.
A fire service spokesperson said: "At 09:43 on 14th February 2026 a fire engine from Chorley and Fulwood attended a road traffic collision involving a bus and a car on Victoria Road, Walton‑le‑Dale. One person received first aid treatment from fire crews and was handed over to North West Ambulance Service. Firefighters made the scene safe and were in attendance for twenty minutes.
A police spokesperson said: "This was a minor injury collision involving a car and a bus.
"We got the call at 9:22am on Saturday, 14th February."
