A teenager is fighting for his life following a collision involving an e-bike.

The 16-year-old boy was seriously injured after his e-bike collided with a Skoda Octavia at the junction of Winchester Avenue and Chislehurst Avenue in Blackpool just before 7pm on Thursday, February 13.

He remains in hospital in a life-threatening condition.

A man in his 50s and a woman in her 40s have been arrested and are currently in police custody.

Sgt Bex Price, of Lancashire Police’s road policing unit, said:

"This collision has left a young man with some very serious injuries, and I would appeal to anyone who saw what happened or who may have CCTV, ring doorbell, or dashcam footage to get in touch."

Anyone with information can call police on 101, quoting log 1139 of February 12.
