Tyson’s Fitness Factory in Accrington has won Lancashire Telegraph best gym competition for the second year in a row.
The result left owner Arshid Iqbal, who took over management in 2015, feeling “incredibly proud” after once again coming out on top against strong contenders, including many commercial gyms.
Arshid admitted he was stunned to win for a second year, saying it still feels just as special.
“I honestly can’t believe it, another year and another win," he said.
"Being nominated is always such an honour, but to actually take the win for the second year in a row is something we’re incredibly proud of."

He added that facing bigger gyms made the achievement even more meaningful.
“We were up against some really strong competitors this year, including commercial gyms, so to come out on top is a huge achievement for us.
"Maybe I’m doing something right after all!”
He said the gym’s customers are the reason it continues to grow, describing their support as the heart of the business.
He said: “I just want to say a massive thank you to all of our amazing customers.
"You’re the reason this business keeps going, growing, and thriving. Your support, loyalty, and votes mean everything to us.”
Arshad added that the team already has plans for the year ahead and is excited to introduce even more to members.
He thanked everyone who voted.
“We’ve got so much more to offer in the year ahead, and we can’t wait to share it with you.
