The trial of a man accused of rape and other sexual offences has been re-listed for later this year.

Christopher Robinson, 61, of Gisburn Old Road, Blacko, was due to stand trial this week over alleged offences of rape, sexual assault, assault by penetration, and failing to surrender to court.

Robinson has denied all of the alleged offences.

The three-day trial was due to get underway on Monday (February 2).

It has now been re-listed for October 12, with an estimated length of one week.

Robinson will be back in court on September 11 for a pre-trial review.
