Two primary schools in East Lancashire are set to reopen tomorrow after suffering burst pipes in the freezing weather this week.
Shadsworth Junior School in Blackburn was closed on Tuesday and Wednesday (January 6 and 7) this week after a damaged pipe caused a major leak at the school.
Some classes will be moved as a result of repair work, with an email of all details sent out to parents this afternoon (January 7).
The school said in a Facebook post that they will be fully open for all children.
St John's Stonefold CE Primary School in Rising Bridge also closed on Monday (January 5) after a mains water pipe burst on the school field, resulting in no water at the school.
The school said in a Facebook post they will be "open as normal" on Thursday (January 8).
