The Met Office has issued another weather warning for parts of East Lancashire as Storm Goretti prepares to sweep across the UK, bringing with it snow and freezing temperatures.
This yellow warning, which is set to come into force at 5pm on Thursday, will remain in place until midday on Friday, and could bring with it 10 inches of snow.
A Met Office spokesperson said this means "Storm Goretti is likely to bring heavy snow leading to disruption and difficult travelling conditions later Thursday and into Friday."
Areas covered by the warning include Pendle, Burnley and Rossendale.

Blackburn with Darwen is not currently covered by the warning, but temperatures are set to remain low in the borough along with in Hyndburn and the Ribble Valley.
The Met Office said: "Rain, associated with Storm Goretti, will spread north-eastwards across the warning area through Thursday afternoon and evening, transitioning to snow fairly widely overnight and into Friday.
"Snow initially will begin to accumulate across hills in Wales and then increasingly to lower levels overnight.
"While not all areas may see accumulating snow, accumulations of five to 10cm are likely quite widely, with scope for 15-25cm in places, especially on some hills above 200 metres elevation.
"There is a chance of 30cm accumulating over high ground in Wales and/or the Peak District.
"There is some uncertainty over the exact track of Storm Goretti, which will influence the locations most likely to see disruptive snow.
"Amounts of snow will also depend quite heavily on both elevation and the intensity of precipitation, and as this becomes somewhat lighter into Friday, this will lead to an awkward mix of rain, sleet and snow, gradually clearing away to the east.
"Therefore, there is likely to be a lot of variation, even over relatively short distances.
The forecaster also warned of possible road travel delays, which may leave some vehicles and passengers stranded, possible delays or cancellations to rail and air travel, rural communities could become cut off, and power cuts or disruptions to services such as mobile phone coverage may occur.
Lancashire has experienced a cold week with multiple snow and ice warnings issued, prompting some school closures and travel issues.
Temperatures are expected to fall to minus one degree in East Lancashire areas.
By the current forecast, Burnley, Rawtenstall and Colne look set to experience more sleet than snow, while in Bacup and other high areas such as around Pendle Hill have heavy snow in the forecast.
