The chef patron-director of a Michelin-starred restaurant near Blackburn has said it is "fantastic recognition" to be included in a prestigious list of the world's top 1,000 restaurants.
Northcote, in Langho, has been included in La List 2026, an exclusive list of the top eateries across the world.
It is a yearly publication of the world's best hotels and restaurants, aggregated by reviews from more than 1,000 guidebooks as well as online customer reviews.
Lisa Goodwin-Allen, chef patron-director at Northcote, said: "Being included in La Liste is a fantastic recognition of the ethos we’ve cultivated at Northcote and an achievement that makes me incredibly proud of our whole team. It’s a reflection of the passion, dedication and skill that everyone brings to the kitchen and beyond, day in and day out.
"It’s such an exciting time for us here at Northcote, with lots of developments in the pipeline, but this milestone is a reminder of what we have already built together.

Northcote scored 87 per cent in La Liste's ranking, with it being described as a 'regional gastronomic landmark'.
Further afield in Lancashire, Moor Hall in Ormskirk scored 96.50 per cent, putting it fourth in the country, and was described as 'a national culinary reference.'
Each review score is converted into a standard grade from 0 to 100, with reviews from customers accounting for the final 10 per cent.
The top nine hotels across the world each scored 99.5 per cent.
Il San Pietro di Positano in Positano, La Reserve in Paris, Rosewood Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, The Peninsula in Shanghai, Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok, The Connaught in London, Cheval Blanc in Paris, The Peninsula in Chicago, and JK Place Capri in Marina Grande, Italy, all scored the top mark.
