Traffic on the M65, in Guide, was brought to a standstill this morning (November 24) as police were called to a concern for safety report.
There were severe delays on the M65, between junctions five and six. All lanes were stopped at around 11.15am today. They have since reopened and traffic has returned to normal.

Police said it was a concern for safety after receiving reports of a woman on a motorway bridge.
Officers attended and said there was nobody there.
A police spokesperson said: “It was a concern for the safety of a woman on a motorway bridge.
"Officers have attended the scene and there was nobody there.”
It has been chaos on the roads in Lancashire this morning, with issues also reported on the M6.
A crash led to queueing traffic from junction 27, Standish, to junction 28 in Leyland. The crash involved two vehicles, but no injuries were reported.
There were severe delays of 45 minutes on the A56 in Edenfield.
One lane was closed and traffic was queuing due to a stalled vehicle.
According to AA Traffic and Travel, this is on the A56 Southbound from The A682 to M66, Ramsbottom Junction.
Lancashire Police were on scene to help with recovery.
All incidents have now cleared.
