As we prepare for the festive season, you’ll notice Christmas ranges being launched ahead of the big day and at Lush, things are no different.

The high street chain, known for selling various self-care products like bath bombs, shower gels and gift sets, has launched its latest Christmas offering.

To welcome in the new season, some of my colleagues and I decided to try the new range which features some returning favourites too.

Here’s what we thought about some of the Lush Christmas products.

Price: £27

What’s inside:

  • Penguin bath bomb (£5.50 when bought separately)
  • Snowdrift bath bomb (£6)
  • Snowman Dreaming bath bomb (£4.50)
  • Silent Night bath bomb (£7)

Verdict: I love this gift set as it’s ideal for a relax in the bath (or four) but also every one of the bath bombs smells incredible – think cosy and fresh.

They make your bath water change colour so you can soak while surrounded by gorgeous pastel rainbows in the water.

I can imagine lots of people being excited to open this on Christmas day!

If you’d prefer to, you can buy each bath bomb separately.

This collection of eight Christmas bath bombs comes in a beautifully made festive red box decorated in a vibrant blue, green, red and gold bauble risograph print, wrapped in a luxurious silk green ribbon.

Although I wish there were some bubble bars included, I’d still be skipping to my local Lush store to buy this Christmas gift set for myself (again) or a loved one.

Snowing bath oil

Verdict: We loved this super sparkly, snow globe-inspired bath oil, full of softening walnut oil, cooling and invigorating peppermint oil, and plastic-free glitter.

It's cute, subtle and perfect for bringing seasonal joy to bathtime.

What's inside:

  • Snow Fairy bath bomb
  • Mini Snow Fairy Roll bubble bar

Verdict: This is the ultimate stocking filler every Lush lover needs this Christmas, and it includes a bath bomb and bubble bar from the handmade cosmetic brand’s biggest festive collection – Snow Fairy.

With the Little Snow Fairy gift set, you can expect candy floss sweet bubbles and pink glittery waters.

The box keeping this Snow Fairy duo safe and sound until bathtime is decorated in a divine “starry night sky in a magical fairy wonderland” wrapping paper.

For under £15, I think it’s a bargain (and a great Secret Santa present).

Price: from £8.50

Verdict: Last year I loved this so much I bought three big bottles to tide me through the winter. Now it's back and I'll be doing the same again.

Sweet, sparkly and so much fun, I love the pure gold seasonal sparkling shower gel, full of sweet maple syrup and warming clove bud oil. Grab the biggest bottle you can find.

What's inside:

This bath bomb haul is a sweet one! (Image: Molly Court/Newsquest)

I feel like this collection of five gourmand bath bombs is something a little different from the handmade cosmetic brand and is quite playful, considering most of Lush’s products smell so good you (almost) want to eat them.

They come in a pretty shiny gold, blue, pink box (with a bon bon print), wrapped in another wonderful, vibrant silk ribbon.

A real sweet treat for a friend or family member (and yourself, of course).

Turmeric Latte perfume

This is my scent of the season (Image: Newsquest)

Price: from £30

Verdict: If you like Yog Nog you'll love this. I've made this velvety vanilla and tonka absolute perfume my fragrance of the season and I can't get enough of it.

Incredibly long-lasting, it's sweet and cosy - perfect for Christmas and right through until spring.

  • Repeat foot balm 10g
  • Shoot For The Stars body scrub 130g

The handy products in this Christmas stocking are bound to keep skin well moisturised (and smelling heavenly with citrus orange notes) throughout the cold winter months.

You won’t be able to resist a cosy pamper evening once you get your hands on this as it has everything you need – think a relaxing hand and foot massage after a scrub in the shower on a chilly Christmas night.

Price: £12

Verdict: This candle really packs a Christmas punch with its zing of Persian lime oil and sweet, powdery synthetic musk, filling the house with its soft, warming bubblegum and candyfloss scent.

My daughters are huge Snow Fairy fans and this is a must on their lists this year.

Butterbear bath bomb

The Butterbear bath bomb features a cute Santa hat (Image: Newsquest)

Price: £3.75

Verdict: This is one of the simplest - and cheapest Lush bath bombs - but also my favourite. I bought a load when they were discounted earlier this year, but the festive edition is extra special, with his cute Santa hat.

It's a real bath time treat, with moisturising Fair Trade organic cocoa butter, which makes the water and skin super soft and smells incredible.

Christmas Lights FUN

You can use this as a soap, bubble bar and shampoo (Image: Newsquest)

Reviewed by: Jade Wright

Price: £8

Verdict: Lush’s classic moldable bath clay that trebles up as a soap, bubble bar and shampoo is probably my favourite thing Lush makes. We use it for every bathtime with the kids and it smells incredible.

I love this Christmas edition - each colourful block has a different classic Lush scent – Snow Fairy, Super Milk, Snow Drift, Elf Shake, Shoot for the Stars, Golden Pear and Glogg. Buy a set for every kid you know - and the big kids too.

Overall, the range has lots of exciting products and offers plenty of gift sets for you and loved ones at different price points for gifting this Christmas. Which will you choose?
