The Muncaster Express Ghost Train is set to return this Halloween.
Two journeys will take place through the Cumbrian countryside, offering passengers a spooky experience on a vintage diesel-hauled train.
The first trip will take place on Monday, October 27, departing from Preston and Lancaster.
This route travels along the coast to Ravenglass with onboard entertainment and creepy characters.
The second journey runs on Wednesday, October 29, departing from Carlisle and stopping at Penrith, Oxenholme, Carnforth, and Ulverston.
Both journeys feature a dedicated Wolf Wagon where werewolves will entertain guests.

Upon arrival at Ravenglass, passengers will be transported by coach to Muncaster Castle for the Halloween Family Festival.
This year’s festival has a werewolf theme and features a scare maze, live performances, walkabout acts, a pumpkin patch, trails, and a costume competition.
Children will each receive a free pumpkin, and guests can explore the castle’s haunted halls and enjoy the Monster Parade.
Tickets are priced at £40 per child and £50 per adult.

The ticket includes the return train journey, entry to the festival, coach transfers, onboard entertainment, and a pumpkin for every child.
