Here's how The Lancashire Telegraph scored the players' performances, with a six representing par for the course.
Balazs Toth - 8
Made some important saves to keep out Heggbo and Price in either half. One moment of poor footwork nearly caused problems but otherwise, faultless.
Ryan Alebiosu - 8
Very bright on debut. Looked the likeliest player to get Rovers' behind the West Brom defence with his pace. Solid defensively too.
Dom Hyam - 6
Not at his absolutely best but still solid enough, particularly in the second half.
Sean McLoughlin - 7
Made a really important block to prevent Price from making it 2-0 after Toth's mistake.
Yuri Ribeiro - 6
Solid against Fellows but didn't offer much going forward.

Lewis Travis - 6
Battled in midfield against Molumby and Mowatt. Helped Rovers control large portions of the second half but with little danger.
Sondre Tronstad - 6
A loose moment which allowed Price to nip in and nearly score. Solid without being at his best.
Ryan Hedges - 6
Largely ineffective on the right. Keeps the ball but it can feel a little safe. Willing runner as ever.
Axel Henriksson - 6
Didn't have a huge impact on his debut. Rovers' best attacks came down the flanks rather than through the middle and so he didn't see much of the ball.
Dion De Neve - 6
Offered very little in terms of creativity but was a willing runner. Took a bang to the head and was taken off at half-time.
Yuki Ohashi - 7
Buzzed around and proved a nuisance without getting the rewards of a clear chance at goal. Could've had a penalty.
Substitutions
Augustus Kargbo (45') - 7
Got two West Brom players booked in four minutes and continued to be a threat when he picked up the ball. Looked like he could create something even if final ball lacked.
Makhtar Gueye (58') - 6
Some decent bits of hold-up play and a few slack moments.
Lewis Miller (60') - 6
Caused problems with his long throw and offered a threat from set-pieces with two heads that were off target.
Sidnei Tavares (81') - N/A
On for his debut in the final 10 minutes with Rovers chasing the game.
Unused substitutes: Michalski, Wharton, Pickering, Montgomery, Mullarkey-Matthews
