OpenTable shared the most romantic restaurants in the county to help you decide where you’ll indulge next.
From Chinese food to British cuisine, there are plenty of options for all kinds of taste buds – let’s take a look.
Lancashire’s most romantic restaurants ideal for a date night
Michael Wan’s Mandarin is one of the restaurants on OpenTable’s list, which it shared this summer, and it has been serving Chinese food since 1961.
It’s located in Blackpool’s town centre and you can expect “a mouth-watering selection of delicious dishes including Mrs Wan’s dumplings, made from her own recipe, Szechuan chilli beef, Nasi Goreng and oriental fruit salad with lychee”, according to its owners.
They added: “We are very proud that every dish and every sauce is made in house, because we care about our food.”
Customers have been impressed too with some sharing their experiences on Tripadvisor, including this one: "Good staff great food always reliable we always had great meal here and we are always looked after very hard to resist I can honestly say I really struggle for anywhere else in the area to come close to the quality and service we always receive at them mandarin we return over and again as we always do."
Eight At Gazegill By Doug Crampton also features and boasts “panoramic views of Pendle Hill”. It offers “a range of seasonal menus”.
The owners said: “With access to panoramic views of Pendle Hill, and a range of seasonal menus, created and tailored by our Chef Patron, Doug Crampton, Eight at Gazegill is the epitome of a 'farm-to-fork' restaurant, being owned by and located directly on a working organic farm, Gazegill Organics, in the Ribble Valley.
“Showcasing the best of the produce from the farm, which includes organic slow-reared pork and raw milk, and utilising the seasonal bounty that can be found in the surrounding hedgerows and countryside, Eight at Gazegill reconnects guests to nature through the food.”
One customer said on Tripadvisor: “First time for dinner here and it was absolutely excellent. We did the a la carte menu and everything was delicious, but got to say the beef was standout. The service was lovely, staff were great. Wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Oh and the setting was lovely.”
