Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach has been named as a major contender in the UK Theme Park Awards 2025.
The awards are organised by ThemeParks-UK.com, an independent consumer guide to UK theme parks, with their website giving a wide range of information on the most popular theme parks in the UK.
The awards are presented in association with AttractionTickets.com.
Of the 22 categories for nominations, Blackpool has been nominated for 13 with a strong showing across a wide range of areas.
The park has been nominated for categories including Theme Park of the Year, Best Theme Park for Families, Best Seaside Park and Best Value Theme Park.
It has also been nominated for best use of intellectual property in an attraction with their Wallace and Gromit’s Thrill-O-Matic ride.
Amanda Thompson, CEO of Pleasure Beach Resort, said: “It is a true honour to be nominated across so many categories at this year’s UK Theme Park Awards.
“These nominations are the result of votes from members of the public and are a true testament to the incredible work of our team.
“It’s fantastic to see some of our smaller initiatives recognised, such as the investment into our Wallace and Gromit ride and the introduction of new events, because these are all the building blocks of the park’s exciting evolution.”
