There were reports of an emergency service presence in Sabden this week.
Social media users reported seeing an air ambulance over Cobden Close on Monday (May 19).
The ambulance service said it was called at around 11.30am.
This is after a woman suffered a medical episode. She has been taken to hospital for further treatment.
A spokesperson for the North West Ambulance Service said: “We’ve responded to a patient suffering a medical episode following a call at 11.30.
“A woman was taken to hospital for further treatment.”
The North West Air Ambulance Charity has been approached for comment.
