An additional £235,000 has been secured to tackle anti-social behaviour (ASB) and other crime in Lancashire.
The funding boost for Lancashire's Police and Crime Commissioner Clive Grunshaw will aid the policing of hotspots across the county.
It follows the success of Operation Centurion, Lancashire Constabulary's initiative against ASB.
The newly secured funds come on top of the £2 million already obtained by the Office to combat ASB.
Since the launch of Operation Centurion in July 2023, more than 3,500 arrests and 826 civil actions have been issued for ASB.
In its first year, Operation Centurion delivered 27,000 additional foot patrol hours, resulting in a 13 per cent reduction in ASB within hotspot areas.
The new investment will also aid Operation Grip, aimed at tackling crime through hotspot policing.
Clive Grunshaw said: "I'm delighted to secure this additional funding towards tackling crime and anti-social behaviour in Lancashire, something which is a key priority in my Police and Crime Plan.
"ASB can ruin lives, causing a significant amount of harm and distress and it won't be tolerated anywhere in Lancashire.
"As we rebuild neighbourhood policing, with officers on the ground, in their communities, tackling anti-social behaviour will remain an absolute priority and I will provide the Chief Constable with the backing to protect every corner of the county."
Residents are encouraged to report any instances of anti-social behaviour through the dedicated webpage or by contacting the independent charity Crimestoppers with information.
In case of emergencies, people are urged to call 101 or 999.
