A Blackburn man is hoping to put his hometown “on the map” at the grand opening of his spud van this month.
Danny Taylor will launch Spud Boys to the public on February 28, from its permanent pitch at Aquamania Superstore car park, in Higher Audley Street.
Danny has planned a range of entertainment from 11am, including music, challenges, live drones and live broadcasts on video sharing site, TikTok.

Spud Boys will be serving jacket potatoes with a variety of toppings, including classic cheese and beans and chilli con carne, plus more unusual toppings such as keema mince, chicken jalfrezi, butter chicken and beyond.
Danny said he was inspired to start a business like this after visiting a jacket potato wagon in Blackburn as a child.
Danny said: “When I was young, in the early 90s, I remember being taken down to the old spud wagon which served miniature potatoes - we haven’t really had anything like that since.
“We want to give something back to our hometown and build something special here.
“We want people from around the country and the world [to visit] we have had celebs get in touch with us and I think it would be good for Blackburn to have something like that.”

Danny said: “We have drones and TikTok lives planned. We have food reviewers coming from all over the country.
“The people of Lancashire have gotten behind us massively and the business has turned into quite a big thing for Blackburn – we are honoured and so lucky.”
Jacket potato businesses have taken TikTok by storm in recent years, including Spudman, real name Ben Newman, who is based in Staffordshire.
His TikTok account has amassed four million followers and the majority of his videos showcase him serving customers from his jacket potato van. People come from all over the country to visit the TikTok famous site.
Danny said he is trying to build his TikTok following, which currently has more than 2,000 followers, but says this venture isn’t about the money but about giving something back to Blackburn.
“We are building up the TikTok and other social media accounts – we have been quite busy helping to promote the site we have also been working with businesses across Blackburn,” Danny said.
“We aren’t just in this for the money - we really want to give back to the town.”
Danny is excited to get started on the new venture.
He said: “We are so excited to start – if it were up to me I’d be open now.
“We are expecting many people here from all over the country.
“I want to thank Blackburn and people in Lancashire. I wouldn’t have gotten this far without business partner Rio Patel either, so I want to thank him.
“A lot of money, time planning and thought has gone into this. We are just hoping for a successful day and to put Blackburn on the map - with spuds.”
