A man will be sentenced next month after admitting an offence of wounding.
Darren Tyman, 45, admitted wounding without intent as well as counts of common assault of an emergency worker and assault by beating of an emergency worker.
Tyman entered the pleas at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday, October 15.
The offences happened in Darwen on July 16 and 17 of last year.
Tyman, whose last given address was HMP Stoke Heath in Shropshire, will be sentenced at Preston Crown Court on November 15.
He was remanded in custody until that date.
