Police officers have issued a warning after a fire underneath a bridge in Blackburn.
Emergency services attended the blaze on Newfield Drive, on September 27.
Police discovered the fire under a bridge.
It was extinguished before it could spread through the woodlands.
Police believe young people are responsible and parents and guardians have been asked to be aware of children’s whereabouts.
A police spokesperson said: “Just a quick message to make you aware of the police and fire service activity on Newfield Drive yesterday.
"Your local neighbourhood policing team discovered a fire underneath the bridge on Newfield Drive.
“Thankfully, the fire was quickly extinguished and did not spread through the woodlands. We believe young people are responsible so please, any parents or guardians, be aware of your children's whereabouts and activities.”
