Police have been out in force in an East Lancashire town centre as part of an operation aimed at cracking down on anti-social behaviour.
The officers have been deployed to Accrington town centre over the course of the evening of Friday September 27 as part of what police call “Operation Centurion.”
This will also involve engaging with the community and with people running businesses throughout the town while carrying out patrols throughout the evening.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “As part of Operation Centurion, four dedicated officers will be spending the duration of our shift conducting high visibility foot patrol in Accrington town centre to tackle anti-social behaviour, engage with our community and offer reassurance to local businesses.
“We are on duty till 10pm and have also parked our mobile police station on the retail park at Hyndburn Road so please pop down to raise any concerns in your area

Anyone with any information or concerns about anti-social behaviour or other kinds of crimes in their areas can call police on 101 or 999 in the event of an emergency.
Alternatively, witnesses can call independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
