Hovercraft racing is returning to Oswaldtwistle this weekend, with under-16s able to go and watch for free.
Magnolls Farm will host the National Hovercraft Championships on Saturday and Sunday, September 21 and 22, with racing beginning at 12pm.
Adult entry costs £5 per person.
The sport was last at the farm in May with riders getting up to speeds of 80mph on the course – which includes a section over water.
May’s action marked the first time Magnolls – which has been seeing cushion-of-air racing for two decades – hosted the European Hovercraft Racing.
Magnolls Farm owner, Charlie Peach, reported a couple of world champions will be in town for the event and it’s the last National Championships round of the year.
Mr Peach has just returned from the World Championships in Germany.
He added: “It’s great to hold the event here for a second time this year.
“Competitors will be chasing for their final points to clinch a national title in their respective formulas, refreshments will be available on-site and we’ll be welcoming spectators from late morning.”
Hovercraft racing is entirely amateur with racers having to self-fund.
Conditions are expected to remain dry throughout the event, with temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius.
