A man will be sentenced later this year after pleading guilty to blackmail.
Vaughan Sixx, 28, appeared at Burnley Crown Court on Monday (September 16) where he was also charged with making threats to kill.
Sixx, of Cross Street, Oswaldtwistle, entered a not guilty plea to this count which was accepted by the prosecution, and the case will proceed to sentence on the blackmail charge.
It's said that between April 14 and July 13, 2023, Sixx made an unwarranted demand of money from a man with menaces.
Judge Daniel Prowse ordered a psychological report to be made by November 11 ahead of a sentence hearing on December 9.
Sixx was granted conditional bail.
