A man in his 70s was taken to hospital after being involved in a crash in Burnley.
Officers closed Active Way in the town centre, between the B&M store and KwikFit, at around 8.45pm last night (September 9).
The crash was between the driver of a car and a pedestrian, the 70-year-old.
He was taken to hospital but his injuries, while serious, are not thought to be life-threatening.
Police did not give any information about arrests at this stage.
North West Ambulance Service have been contacted for further information.
