Police are appealing for witnesses after two people suffered stab wounds in a Blackpool.

The incident happened at around 6am today (Wednesday) on Watson Road, close to St Annes Road.

Officers said they are making  enquiries and attempting to find the two victims who left the scene.

A police spokesperson said: "If you witnessed the disturbance, which is believed to have happened sometime between 5.30am and 6am, or have dashcam/CCTV footage from the area, please contact 101 – quoting log 0151 of 4th September 2024.

"A 31-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 GBH and is currently in custody."
