A man who won a new car and £2,000 cash in an online competition says he is first heading to Turkey to get his teeth 'sorted'.
Victor Popa, bagged himself a Dacia Spring Extreme worth £16,995 and a £2,000 cash prize in BOTB’s (Best of the best) 48 hour Lifestyle competition.
The 27-year-old was at work when he received a video call from BOTB presenter Christian Williams.
Victor said: “I’m so happy and my heart was pounding when I found out.
“When Christian called I didn’t know what to say because I’ve never won anything in my life.”
Victor from Skelmersdale said he was planning on taking the cash alternative instead of the Dacia Spring Extreme to spend on his teeth and visiting his mum in Romania.
“The cash is going to mean a lot to me in my life.
“The first thing I need to do is go to Turkey to sort out my teeth.
“I also want to go to Romania and visit my mum as I haven’t seen her for five years. When I told her I had won she was in complete shock like me."
Christian said: “A huge congratulations to Victor for winning this fantastic prize.
“It’s a lovely car and the interior is fantastic, but it sounds like the cash is going to mean a lot more to Victor, who wants a new set of pearly whites and is planning a long-awaited reunion with his mum.”
Founded by William Hindmarch in 1999, BOTB has given away £70m-worth of cars so far.
