A man will stand trial next year after denying causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Usman Rasul, 32, also entered not guilty pleas to failing to stop at the scene of an accident, failing to report an accident, driving without insurance, and driving without a licence, at Preston Crown Court on Monday (September 2).
The alleged offences are all said to have taken place on November 25, 2023 in Blackburn.
Rasul, of Eanam, Blackburn, will stand trial at the same court on November 3, 2025. The trial is expected to last three days.
A pre-trial review hearing will be held on September 22, 2025.
