Two hundred illegal e-cigarettes were seized from a store in Burnley by police.

It came after neighbourhood policing teams and Lancashire Police Cadets conducted test purchases at eight stores.

Of the eight stores randomly tested, six passed, either checking the ID or refusing to sell the products.

One shop made a sale to a person underage.

Another shop made a sale to a minor of an illegal electronic cigarette which resulted in 200 illegal electronic cigarettes being seized.

Police said all prosecutions will be dealt with by the Lancashire County Council trading standards department.
