East Lancashire students have seen their game published by a designer renowned for working on the popular Lego games.
The students studying Games Art at Burnley College created the published game 'Doing Time' as part of a project organised by Unseen Galaxy.
Doing Time involves puzzles, time loops, and escape-based action and was developed on the itch.io platform.
The students worked on the project after classes each week.
The publisher is a former designer of the highly successful Lego games series.
Chris Haythornthwaite, programme lead for game art, esports and media at Burnley College, said: "I am incredibly proud of our learners.
"Producing a game and getting it published is an invaluable experience that showcases their dedication and talent.
"This achievement is a testament to their hard work and the excellent educational environment we foster at Burnley College."
Unseen Galaxy was established by gaming industry veteran Stephen Hey, who has worked on major titles including the Lego games series.
The organisation's aim is to identify and nurture talent in the gaming industry.
Students at Burnley College are encouraged to turn their game ideas into finished, published products while collaborating with industry experts.
More information about courses and collaboration opportunities with industry professionals can be found on the Burnley College website.
