Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an elderly woman suffered a broken hip in Rawtenstall town centre.
Officers were called around 2.15pm on Tuesday to Bank Street, near to the bus station.
Police say they have not yet haven’t established how the woman, who is aged in her late 70s, was injured.
In particular, officers would like to speak to a man and a woman pushing a pram, who came to the aid of the pensioner.
