A driver who was involved in a crash continued to drive on the M66 without a tyre on one wheel.
Road traffic officers said they stopped this vehicle which only had three tyres on the motorway overnight.
The motorist who was three times over the drink drive limit had managed to travel from junction 2 on the M66 to the M60.
The driver was arrested and the vehicle was seized.
