A trial date has been set for a man accused of being a carer who engaged in sexual activity with a mentally disordered patient.
David Shorrock, 52, entered a not guilty plea to the single offence at a plea and trial preparation hearing at Preston Crown Court on Monday (June 10).
The alleged offending happened in Great Harwood in July of last year.
Shorrock, of Ballantrae Road, Blackburn, was given conditional bail until his next court appearance on December 2.
A trial date was set for January 27, 2025, and is expected to last three days.
