A road in Billington is closed and “impassable” due to a lorry which is stuck at a junction.
The lorry is stuck at the junction of Whalley Old Road from Painterwood and Whalley Road.
The road is “blocked and impassable” and motorists have been urged to avoid the area. Vehicle recovery has been called and an update will be issued when it is back open.
A police spokesperson said: “There is a lorry stuck at the junction of Whalley Old Road from Painterwood and Whalley road, Billington.
“The road is blocked and impassable, please avoid the area. recovery has been called.
We will update you when it is open.”
