These were the latest models on the market, on display at East Lancashire’s very own motor show in October 1957.
The event had been organised by Skippers of Burnley and saw many of the leading car manufacturers taking part.

Looking at them it’s amazing how car design has changed over the years. And yet, there’s something really characterful about some of these old models.
Motors shows have become a thing of the past but you can bet that at the time, car lovers across East Lancashire had this event firmly in their diaries.
