A school teacher is to stand trial after pleading not guilty to charges involving sexual activity with a 15-year-old pupil.
Amir Makda, 30, of Briar Road, Blackburn, appeared at Preston Crown Court on Tuesday (May 28) and entered not guilty pleas to one count of sexual activity with a child and five counts of sexual activity with a girl aged 13-17.
The alleged offences relate to a period in 2022.
Makda, who taught at Shuttleworth College in Padiham, will stand trial on June 16, 2025.
He was released on unconditional bail.
