A road in an East Lancashire village is closed as police deal with a crash.
Whalley Road in Billington was closed at around 12.30pm today (May 28).
Police are asking drivers to avoid the area while they deal with the incident.
Officers confirmed there were minor injuries but did not disclose any further information.
The AA traffic website said: "Road closed and slow traffic due to crash on Whalley New Road both ways from Dale View to King Street."
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: "We are currently dealing with a road traffic collision on Whalley Road Billington from the junction with Painter Wood Road.
"Please avoid the area."
