A prolific burglar from the North East has been jailed after committing several commercial burglaries in Lancashire.
Martin Brown, 60, targeted business properties in Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde, forcing entry into them and stealing large sums of cash.
Following an investigation, Brown's car was seized and £5,300 was recovered from it under the proceeds of crime act.
He was described by officers as a 'travelling criminal' and was identified by police following a lengthy investigation.
Brown, from Washington, Tyne & Wear, was sentenced to three years and four months in prison at Preston Crown Court.
