A driver was arrested for drug driving in Preston after police found they had cocaine in their system.
The driver, who was behind the wheel of a silver Mercedes-Benz C160, was stopped in Preston yesterday (May 20) as police checks showed the car was uninsured and had no MOT.
Officers found the car was in a poor condition overall, with one tyre worn down completely.
A police spokesperson said: "Vehicle stopped in Preston after checks showed it was uninsured and had no MOT.
"The vehicle wasn't in the best condition and neither was the driver when they found out they were going to court for numerous offences.
"The driver decided it was a good idea to drive whilst having cocaine in their system, but they were also dealt with for having a defective tyre, having an expired licence, no insurance, and no MOT."
The driver was arrested for drug driving and their vehicle was seized.
