A walker who sustained a leg injury on Pendle Hill had to be rescued by the Rossendale & Pendle Mountain Rescue Team (RPMRT).
The team were called out on Saturday evening (May 18), with two vehicles making their way from Burnley while other team members went directly to the location.
Once on the scene, the casualty was placed into a casualty bag and then onto a bell stretcher for a short ride down to Pendle House Farm.
From there, they were handed over to North West Ambulance Service for onward care.
A RPMRT spokesperson said: "Thanks as ever to everyone at Pendle House Farm - they are always accommodating, especially on incidents such as this, and we are always grateful of how welcoming they are as well as their ongoing support for the team."
