A man has been charged after police allegedly found drugs and money in a car, which was stopped on the M6.
On Tuesday, May 14, at around 3.12pm, police stopped and searched a black Mercedes on the M6, near Preston.
Officers allegedly found a large amount of cannabis and around £5,000 in cash.
The driver, Lukasz Cur, 37, of Oldcroft Place, Aberdeen, was charged with money laundering and possession with intent to supply drugs.
A police spokesperson said: “On Tuesday, May 14, at around 3.12pm we stopped and searched a black Mercedes on the M6 near Preston and found a large amount of cannabis and around £5,000 cash.
“The driver, Lukasz Cur, 37, of Oldcroft Place, Aberdeen, was charged with money laundering and possession with intent to supply drugs.
“He was remanded to appear before Preston Magistrates today (May 16).”
