A health care firm is supporting the ELHT&Me charity by sponsoring 500 T-shirts.
The charity T-shirts, sponsored by Chorley-based MultiHealth Specialists, will be worn by NHS staff at various events.
MHS business director, Clare Boyd said: “We were honoured to be approached by ELHT&Me and to be given the opportunity to support the fabulous work that the charity does.
"We have a long-term relationship of delivering new buildings and refurbishing existing patient environments for East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust and have seen firsthand how the charitable funding enhances that environment and the patient and user experience.”
ELHT&Me is the official charity of East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust aimed at enhancing patient experience across the trust’s hospitals and community healthcare services.
The charity brings specialist equipment, invests in new technology and provides extras that are outside of the core NHS expenditure; making time in hospital more comfortable for all.
This is across all five hospitals – Royal Blackburn and Burnley General Teaching hospitals, Accrington Victoria, Clitheroe and Pendle community hospitals alongside the community healthcare services.
Denise Gee from ELHT&Me said: "Whether your passion lies in Neonatal Intensive Care, Dementia Care, Cancer Services, Cardiology, Stroke Care, or any other area, ELHT&Me allows you to dedicate your fundraising efforts to the area closest to your heart.
