A man has been jailed after designer goods were stolen from a car in Preston.
It followed an appeal asking for the public's to identify two people wanted over the theft of a number of items from the vehicle on Ribbleton Lane on 30 April.
A 30-year-old man was later arrested and charged with theft from a motor vehicle.
On Friday, (10 May) Jason Ward, of Sheardley Avenue, Preston pleaded guilty to that offence at Preston Magistrates Court. He was sentenced to 24 weeks in prison and told to pay £5000 in compensation.
