DARWEN'S newly-elected town councillors will be present for the first time at the latest of Labour's regular advice surgeries in the town.
It will be held in Darwen Library in Knott Street on Saturday May from 10:30am to 11:30am.
The Blackburn with Darwen Borough Labour councillors for Darwen East ward (Cllrs Katrina Fielding, Martin McCaughran and Matt Gibson), Darwen West ward (Cllrs Brian Taylor, Dave Smith and Stephanie Brookfield)and Darwen South ward (Cllrs Matt Jackson and Anthony Shaw) are all due to be present at the hour-long session.
Organiser Cllr Smith said: "Darwen town councillor Jonathan Hamer (Darwen West ward) will also be in attendance as will the newly-elected town councillors - Julie Dugan and Mark Westall for Darwen East ward, and Sue Skipper, Paul O'Garr and Liam Dobson for Darwen South Ward.
"Residents with any borough or town council related queries or questions please come along.
"All are welcome. No appointment is necessary."
