A man has been charged with possessing a large amount of cannabis at Preston train station.
County Lines taskforce officers stopped a man at the station on Tuesday, April 30 and allegedly found 13.5kg of cannabis in a suitcase, worth more than £200k.
Yao Xian Lee, 29, of no fixed abode, appeared at Preston Magistrates' Court yesterday (May 1) charged with possession of a controlled drug of class B.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Preston Crown Court on May 29 for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: One of the largest seizures of cannabis by our County Lines taskforce was made at Preston.
"A stop and search led to the discovery of 13.5kgs, with an estimated street value of £202k, in a suitcase.
"An adult male was arrested, charged and remanded for court."
