Lady golfers from Bolton Old Links proudly represented the club by making the last four teams in the National Kyocera UK Golf Club Classic.
The quartet travelled to Spain for the finals in March after progressing through several qualifying rounds, from a starting field of more than 370 clubs.
They competed over five days at the Montecastillo Golf Resort, in Jerez, backed by 12 supporters as well on the Atlantic coast.
Player Carol Helme said it was a fantastic achievement for the team, and for women’s golf in general.
She said: “We are immensely grateful to all those who are supporting women’s golf.
“Golf helps players spend time outdoors away from screens, boosting both mental and physical wellbeing.
“It’s the best medicine there is, particularly matchplay golf as it requires both focus and strategy, leaving no time to ponder life’s wider issues.
“Thanks to Rod Tonna-Barthet and Martin Fairman, of Kyocera, and their team who make the event possible.
“Also thanks go to our sponsor Grant Gledhill, of iXtract, for our amazing kit - we really looked the part.”
Gledhill added: “I was very proud to see the iXtract logo adorned on the shirts of the ladies’ golf team.
“Their dedication and teamwork is something we embody here at iXtract.
“It’s great to see what can be achieved when everyone is working together.”
