Two cars were seized in Preston after the drivers were spotted racing each other.
The incident happened yesterday (Thursday) on London Way, Preston.
A Volkswagen Polo and an Audi A1 were seized after reports of the vehicles being raced in the area.
Lancashire Road traffic police posted: "Safer Road tasking conducted on London Way, Preston in response to community concerns.
"Two cars were seized under S59 Police Reform Act for racing each other and one driver reported for excess speed.
"Approximately 80 other cars also passed, all within speed limit."
