This week we have been back into the archive to put together this fun selection of photos showing youngsters enjoying some water fun sessions.
They were run in the 1990s at Queens Park in Blackburn and pupils from local primary scvhools were given expert instruction in windsufing and kayaking as well as learning all about water safety.
Similar sessions were held elsewhere in oublic parks around East Lancashire so perhaps you took part. Even if they were held in the height of summer, the chances are that the water would be pretty cold!
