Four people have been taken to hospital after a crash in Blackpool on Saturday, March 30.
At around 9.40pm, police were called to Park Road, to attend a crash involving a police vehicle and a Hyundai Tucson.
Four people, including a police officer, were taken to hospital for treatment.
The matter has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC).
A police spokesperson said: “We attended a road traffic collision involving a police vehicle and a Hyundai Tucson in Park Road, Blackpool, at 9.40pm Saturday (March 30).
“Four people, including a police officer, were taken to hospital for treatment.
“We are at the very early stages of an investigation and the matter has been referred to the IOPC (Independent Office for Police Conduct) as is standard practice with any incident of this nature.
“It would be inappropriate for us to comment any further at this time.”
Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to call 101, quoting log 1388 of March 30.
