A CCTV image has been released as police investigate an incident in Clayton-Le-Moors.
Officers were called to Whalley Road, on Friday, March 15.
More details about the ‘incident’ have not yet been released by police but it was said to have taken place between 6pm and 9pm.
Officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak with.
Anyone with information has been asked to get in touch.
A police spokesperson said: “Do you recognise this male?
“Officers want to speak to him regarding an incident that happened on Whalley Road, Clayton-Le-Moors on Friday, March 15.
“The incident happened between 6pm and 9pm.
“As part of our ongoing enquires officers want to speak with the male captured on the CCTV footage.
“If anyone recognises the male can they please contact Lancashire Police on 101, quote log number LC-20240316-0299, alternatively e-mail 5136@lancashire.police.uk.
“You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800-555-111. Officers would like to thank the community we serve for the continued support.”
