A man has been charged after a 13-year-old was left with serious injuries when she was struck by a motorbike in Burnley.
Officers were called at 3.15pm on Wednesday, March 21, to Briercliffe Road to a report of a crash.
They found that an off-road motorbike had collided with the girl as she crossed the road.
The girl suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Today (March 27) Arry Todd, 19, of Ribblesdale Avenue, Burnley was charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving, disqualified driving, failing to stop after an accident, failing to report an accident and driving without insurance, in relation to the incident.
He appeared at magistrates’ court on March 23 and will next appear at Burnley Crown Court on April 22.
