A road in Haslingden is closed and motorists are being diverted after a “police incident”.
According to AA Traffic and Travel, a police incident has been reported on Helmshore Road.
The road is closed both ways from Highfield Park to Whitecroft Meadows.
A bus company that operates in Rossendale, Rosso, has outlined details of bus diversions.
The 481 and X41 are unable to reach all stops along Helmshore Road and Broadway in both directions.
Buses will divert via Manchester Road between Road End and Haslingden in both directions.
A spokesperson for AA Traffic and Travel said: “Road closed due to police incident on B6214 Helmshore Road both ways from Highfield Park to Whitecroft Meadows. A detour is in operation for bus services 481 and X41.”

A spokesperson for Rosso said: “Due to a road closure for a police incident in Haslingden.
“Irwell Line 481 and Red Express X41 are unable to reach all stops along Helmshore Road and Broadway in both directions.
“Buses will divert via Manchester Road between Road End and Haslingden in both directions.”
Lancashire Police has been approached for more information.
