Three men have been arrested after police stopped a car that was travelling on the M6 on Wednesday (March 20).
Around £11,000 was found in the vehicle.
Two men, aged 34 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of money laundering.
After searching an address in Ailsa Avenue, Blackpool, police found around £15,000 in cash and a quantity of class A and B drugs.
A 26-year-old man was arrested at the address on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs and money laundering. He remains in custody.
A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: “Three men are in custody after the seizure of cash and drugs.
“Officers stopped a car travelling on the M6 yesterday afternoon and approximately £11,000 cash was found in the vehicle.
“Two men, aged 34 and 26, were arrested on suspicion of money laundering and remain in custody.
“A subsequent search of an address in Ailsa Avenue, Blackpool, found approximately £15,000 cash and a quantity of class A and class B drugs.
“A 26-year-old man was arrested at the address on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs and money laundering. He remains in custody.”
